Please come out and help us open the pools by volunteering for a few
tasks. We will also work on a few beautification needs around the
neighborhood. With enough volunteers, all tasks can be completed
within an hour or two. Volunteering helps avoid hiring contractors to do
the work and keeps HOA fees down. Use the sign-up genius link to
volunteer. Feel free to call 334-275-1911 for more information.

Lawns and Landscaping
With spring upon us, that means it is time to turn our attention to our
lawns and landscaping. We all want a beautiful neighborhood and for
our property values to keep going up. Poor landscaping can certainly
detract from your home's curb appeal and well-maintained landscaping
can certainly add value. Per the covenants, lawns should be mostly weed
free. The HOA Board recommends a professional weed service or a
comprehensive DIY plan for weed control. Thank you to all
homeowners who addressed weed issues last year during our weed
campaign. Hot Tip: If you are still getting your weeds under control,
cutting your grass weekly versus every other week will keep weed
prevalence and visibility to a minimum.
The HOA Board also recommends refreshing your bedding materials
and beds each spring. If you are refreshing with relatively the same
bedding, plants, flowers, and shrubs, then there is no need to submit for
a review to the ACC. However, if you are changing your bedding
materials and/or plantings in any significant way, please submit your
plan for ACC review. The goal of weed free lawns and fresh beds is
simply to keep Cotswolds and the Oaks and one of the most beautiful
and desirable neighborhoods in Auburn.
The Cotswolds’ Little Free Library

Food Trucks
Amy, another one of our neighbors, is organizing food trucks to come by
the neighborhood. Please be sure you remove your cars and trucks from
the pool parking lot during that time so the food trucks can set up.
Here’s the schedule:
• Wednesday - March 27 , 5-7pm. - Snowshill pool
K&K Triple Threat Eatz.
• Wednesday - April 24 , 5-7pm - Banbury pool
We will have 2 trucks….
The Fry Guy Chris AND Let’s shake on it Milkshakes.
• Wednesday - May 22 5-7pm Banbury Pool
Rollin Pepperoni (which is my truck).
We expect to alternate pool locations though some trucks have trouble getting in and out of the Snowshill lot. So sometimes that’s not possible.
We have some landing gear that scrapes the dip.Amy will continue to set up trucks and share when she gets them scheduled. They will also be posted on the website and the Facebook page.
